SPEAK UP! EXPRESS YOURSELF! Along with music, dance, and the visual arts, LEAF in Schools and Streets also engages award – winning and professional spoken word, theatre/drama & poetry artists as well as supporting writing workshops and other forms of written and spoken expression. Kids who engage playfully in these fluid forms of expression in a festival environment may come back to their English classroom requirements with fresh energy, inspiration, perspective and a newfound love of language expression.
