LEAF in Schools & Streets (LSS) artists are award winning local, regional and national artists. A few months before each festival LSS sends out a list of available LSS artists to local schools & centers and matches artists with teachers, classrooms and after school programs. LSS artists do hands-on workshops, residencies and interactive performances in the schools & streets before our spring or fall festival. This learning in the classroom culminates for the students and artists through an on-stage LEAF performance & in their community.
