Streets & Centers

As well as reaching out to schools, we collaborate locally with public housing communities, educational centers, community centers and prisons for hands-on workshops, residencies and interactive performances. LEAF in Schools & Streets is designed to reach youth and adults of different socio-economic backgrounds in Western North Carolina, and especially people under-served and lacking ARTS opportunities. Over the years a variety of artists, streets & centers have helped to make our programs possible. See the info below for centers and communities we work in and the teaching artists.
