    HoopersBallMelanieHOOPER's BALL was hooptastic!!

Asheville Hoops Troops led by the dazzling Melanie MacNeil created such a creative evening to hoop and support LEAF in Schools & Streets [LSS]. The hoopers transformed the Montford Community Center in a colorful costume filled hoop experience. Contests revealed the Hoopers Ball King & Queen and Prince & Princess. Melanie is a star LSS teaching artist weekly at Montford and in IRL at AVL Middle School. Hula hooping used to be a pastime- now it is a creative expression helping people find their balance, rhythm and have fun. The Hooper's Ball was simply magical!
