STEP INTO LEAF HEALING ARTS....
The Healing Arts Area hovers just above the festival, slightly hidden by trees, and opening onto a grassy sun-dappled field. From here, one can look out over Lake Eden and the surrounding tapestry of mountains while drinking in golden sunlight and a deliciously delicate breeze. Ahh!!!! It’s refreshing just to come up and sit quietly in this sacred space! But there’s even more to experience here! Workshops enriching body, mind, and spirit are offered at the Healing Arts area -free of charge- to all LEAF’ers, helping to make your vacation weekend one of deep personal expansion and renewal as well as festival fun and entertainment. What a fabulously risk-free opportunity to try something new!
Tucked away even further in a little wooded glen is the Ancient Earthskills area, where festival goers can learn primitive survival skills and handcrafts, such as friction fire making and bamboo cup-making. Some of these classes have limited capacities and materials fees, so its good to venture up to the Earthskills camp ahead of classes to get the ins and outs of what will be going on there. These classes are awesome for families to do together and have been a big hit with the teens!
We also have, woven throughout the marketplace and festival grounds, a dozen or so booths in which professional Healing Artists are offering personal sessions in their specialized bodywork and counseling services for a fee. Got a kink in your neck from camping? Massages and chiropractic adjustments are right here to fix it! AHHHHHH- LEAF! Namaste~Brandi
