DANCE til you drop!

To Contra, Cajun, Swing, Celtic, African, Latin, Clogging, Zydeco, Waltz and more or just get out and boogie to your own groove. Dedicated to the pursuit of a good time dancing, we lay a wooden floor in Brookside Pavilion to create one of the south's largest dance floors. And it‚s not just the whirling contra dancers who love it --if you can move we can teach you the groove in one of our many dance workshops or mini dance demos that cover everything from belly dance to Irish step dancing. And don‚t be intimidated, we love beginners too.

Dance is such a positive and freeing way to have fun and meet new friends. Eden Hall hosts intimate dances on the sweet old floor and a wooden floor at Lakeside (Main Stage) leaves some space for swinging to your favorite tunes by the band. Of course all devoted dancers keep requesting a bigger floor at Lakeside stage & slowly but surely it grows. Mini dance demos between acts give teasers of what's available and styles you can learn from some of the region's best dancers.
"I love your festival. I'm a devoted dancer and lover/player of music, with three kids, and it's very special to come to a place that's so much fun for me AND my children, clean and safe and kind. I love the atmosphere of the festival, which is created by so much art - including the arts of cooking and healing - and community spirit, in such a beautiful place. THANK YOU."
